Moon + Mellow is all about investment pieces to look forward to wearing, with fine details and finishes – from signature cuffs to cotton piping, French seams to mother of pearl buttons – all gift-wrapped to perfection in recycled and recyclable packaging.
Master the art of slipping into something more comfortable with our sets and co-ords, which can be easily mixed, matched and layered with your existing wardrobe – making sun-holiday and weekend-away packing a cinch.
Our garments are designed in Ireland with unique, exclusive prints and manufactured in our partner factory in Portugal – an intergenerational family business – to ensure superior quality and craftsmanship.
As well as online, Moon + Mellow retails in Brown Thomas, Adare Manor, and in 2024 enjoyed a pop-up residency at Kildare Village.
We also offer personalisation and bespoke services for that extra wow factor

“I wanted a brand name that would reflect the calm of nighttime, the cycles and magic of the everyday, that moment of slowing down”
Cliona O’Brien launched Moon + Mellow in 2019, bringing to the market easy, breezy shapes and silhouettes, ready made for lie-ons, holidays, date nights, city breaks, and girls’ nights out and in, to enjoy for years to come.
O’Brien’s background in business ethics was a key pillar of Moon + Mellow’s slow fashion ethos at the outset, a natural progression from a decade in business management working on responsibly-sourced products with some of the world’s top-ranking brands.
She lives in Kildare with her husband, three sons and dog Rosco, and divides her time between Ireland, Paris and London fashion weeks, and Moon + Mellow’s partner factory in Portugal. Her passion for textiles, art and design are almost equitable with her love of cooking and eating out – hence the recipes in her newsletters.
